Position description: Position Overview: TE-active is looking for highly motivated professionals to join our Travel Service team. As a Travel Consultant with TE-active, you will join a growing, professional and forward-thinking team assisting our customers with their travel plans, including air tickets, hotel reservations, and their next dream vacation.In a fast-paced Contact Center, you will provide support and assistance for Canada’s premier loyalty program as you manage member point redemptions and travel reservations while demonstrating exceptional customer service skills that meet quality and privacy guidelines. You will be the first point-of-contact for members calling in to redeem points and enquire about travel products. Required profile:

Duties and Responsibilities: Provide travel counseling support to the members of our loyalty programs. Make outbound calls as may be required. Support members with questions and inquiries about online bookings Offer the best travel experience to our clients by offering advice, recommendations for their destinations and additional travel components Collaborate with, and learn from, our experienced team of travel consultants to deliver an exceptional service experience Follow scripts, policies, and procedures to best service the customer Contribute to business objectives and service levels through efficient customer interaction Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, educate the customer where applicable to limit future contacts, and obtain and input data into a proprietary database to ensure consistent and quality service delivery Handle any complaints and deal with them in a calm and professional manner while suggesting alternative solutions Build and maintain rapport with customers by going the extra mile Other duties as may be assigned

Working conditions:

Skills and Requirements: 1 year of proven customer service and sales experience in the travel industry Working knowledge of PC/Windows environment, internet, mobile and tablet applications Fluent in professional and conversational English, bilingual preferred (English/French) – spoken/written Completion of High School diploma is required Must successfully complete initial training before handling customer interactions. You will also be required to attend ongoing training and educational sessions to develop and refine skills and performance. Contact center experience an asset Previous experience meeting KPI metrics/goals ensuring an understanding of service levels, quality assurance, and working within company policies, procedures, and privacy standards Excellent active listening and communication skills with the ability to foster strong working relationships Proven ability to clearly articulate information in English/French Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team Detail-oriented with proven multi-tasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment Willingness to work a flexible schedule Knowledge of GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, Appollo) an asset TICO and/or OPC certification are required for this role What We Offer: Comprehensive Medical and Dental benefits Full time schedule with varied work shifts between 30 hours - 37.5 hours/week during our business hours of operation: Monday to Friday 08h00am to 9h00pm / Saturday 08h00am to 05h00pm / Sunday closed / open on select holidays (Abovementioned hours are subject to change) Target-based Monthly Rewards and/or Recognition Salary based on experience
